2000 2.3t 9-5 replace rear brake pads

Looking for a DIY guide for this model.

One I found says punch out the pins and withdraw the pads (10 minutes)
Another says remove the springs then 7mm Hex bolts, then the calipers (45 minutes)

Thinking the latter description is the correct one all though I was hoping for the former.
