Hi guys

I'm currently on the look out for a good 2.8 v6 Conv.

I've found a few, one of particular interest. I'm quite familiar with the 2.0 Aeros, but not the 2.8 v6.

The one i really like is a late 2007, early 2008. With sub 40k. Looks to have had 4ish owners. Its not cheap, but in the ball park we are happy with.

As far as i can tell, its be super well maintained, serviced regularly, new disc and pads, new tyres recently. The current owner will MOT it and he's having paint protection added in the coming days.

Anything obvious i need to keep the beadies open for when sniffing under the bonnet?

Thanks, Ant

Great thanks Lizzard (nice to hear from you again). Do you think £7.5k is too much, assuming everything is ship shape? I'm really caught here, some websites are valuing it (adjusted) at £3.5k, others £8k.

..also lizzard, its only done 32k since birth. So plugs? Road tax is a killer £570.... ??

Are they chain, not belt...? So no service interval? (Unlike my Volvos ££££)

They are chain driven
if it's genuine ( as I'm sure you have checked ) and knowing as I said before that this is the season for convertibles then about £7-7.5 is right .
have you tried a valuation on auto trader ?
Thats what I do .
but each website values car different ways ,
