Not done an engine swap in a 9000 before. Mechanical side looks pretty straight forward but the real problem will be the wiring (possibly - depends on year of your car). If the wiring looms in your car are not interchangeble between the 2.0 and 2.3 then I think you are in for a lot of bother. Then most insurance companies dont like engine swaps to a bigger engine than standard. Probably better to buy/swap/trade yours for a 9000 with a 2.3 as standard
What I failed to say above,is the Engine is (what I was told) quite cheap,realitively low mileage,and I know someone who can fit it.
But I know what you say about insurance companies,I'm with NUD so I'd better check with them first,thats of course if the Engine/especially the wiring are ok!
