As my Login describes, I have a 9kT 5 speed manual with TCS and 107k miles on the odometer. I love this car, fast and stiffly sprung. Managed to get a few laps around the Laguna Seca racetrack and had a blast.
For the last few months, the "TCS CTRL" light on the instrument cluster has been staying on after the car is started and running.
At first it was only faintly visible, now it seems to be solid.
The car does not go into LHM, and the boost needle definately hits into the red when I mash the throttle pedal.
I haven't tried to spin the wheels at start-off because I'm getting close to needing a new clutch.
Does this simply sound like a poor ground? Any ideas which specific ground connection or cable connectors might need cleaning? I do have some of the factory manuals for reference.
Great forum, by the way! Fond memeories of my business trip to Cambridge a few years ago. I'm also a long-time member of saabnet.
