Hi there, new to the forum, and saab ownership!

Looking for a bit of advise regarding the thermostat on a 2005 saab tid 120.
Can I use a vauxhall part? And is a straight forward fit? I've had a search around, but don't seem to be able to find much info on the 120 engine.

Any help would be greatly received. Thanks.

No reason not to or even the equivalent fiat/alfa part

yes same oe spec better than pattern part depends on what make

any reason you pushing to use vauxhall part, you will be able to x ref the gm number or any major brand

No reason, other then the Vauxhall dealership is over the road from my work really. Is there a better alternative?

As good as any although expect to be expensive from dealer

Try neobrothers parts for saab lmf vauxhall vauxhall parts world etc, good deals can also be had from carpartsconnexion although you would require part number rather than searching the site

We'll I did this today,who's stupid idea was it to attach the egr cooler onto the same bloody bolt. OMG, what a nightmare. Cut about quatre of an inch to get the bloody thing back on.
