  1. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
Hi, Im reading the forum trying to find out what my problem with my 95 1.9tid might be, the other day I noticed for the first time that the vacuume relay/ switch that the smaller of the two vacuume pipes connects to was clicking furiously, never noticed it before,,this morning our battery is...

While under the bonnet today I noticed to vac out vacuum pipe had come off, I sucked on the pipe and can hear its operating an actuator of some sort, but cannot find anywhere on line where it goes to, the car had been running well. looks like the pipe had broken beforfe and someone has put a...
  3. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
Have a problem with my heater bypass valve leaking. Bodged for now and have one on order, I did it in the dark last night and now not sure of the vac pipes. Looked at all previous answers but does not show all I need. One pipe goes from side of solonoid to top of valve to actuate the...
  4. Saab Parts / Accessories, FOR SALE and WANTED
I have a Forge dump valve for sale as my car is also up for sale. About 2months old, ideal to replace a worn valve. Can't say if I noticed a performance difference, but its definatley louder so must flow more air quicker. Comes with a length of black samco vac hose. Boxed, with green and...
  5. Saabscene: Performance
Hi, I'm going to buy a forge dump valve and replace the vac hoses on my car. Well to start, the three lengths from the device on the bulkhead, including the one run that does to the DV directly. I cant decide between 3mm and 4mm! Some places list 4mm, some say 3mm only. 3mm seems small but if...
  6. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Finished cleaning the car interior, washed waxed an polished the exterior, buffed the bumpers and trims, handles and window surrounds. Looks nice but )))CREAKS((( like an old ship. Had this occur every time - with periods in between for comparison I should add. Thought about graphite (and...
  7. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Thanks for the advice . I changed my vacuum hoses yesturday and now have smooth turbo power through the revs. I think this is why the dodgy , know nothing, dealer flogged me a mint 1995 CSE 2.3 T with 125k for £2000. The only other thing to look into is a slight CV knock so I will have to look...

  9. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
hi all having massive problems with under boost on my carlsson, traced it back to the apc valve and the vac pipes connected to it, ( 2 off the 3 are split badly) so have decided with some persuasion from another member andy ( saab90002.3t ) that the best way to go was an mbc valve, best price...
