Due to my wifes rather damaged leg, I would be interested in learning this measurement. I have measured it on our car by placing a straight edge across the drivers seat and measuring from this to the ground. It will take a bit of time, but there is not a car handy to us.

As above, 30mph glancing blow to my rear drivers door ( silly driver going too fast on ice and panic braked, lost it and hit me ) my doors bent in, side skirt got broken and his wheel dug into the lower quarter panel and ripped it and kinked slightly around the arch, alloy wheel badly scuffed...

Is there any technical (not environmental....) issue arising when I remove all the tubing from the PCV-hosing etc. and seal off all vacuum openings apart from the opening in the valve cover where I want to place a small airfilter? It should solve a lot of problems I think. This is not just a...

Having finally got my 3.0 TiD back after the garage I bought it from fitted a new waterpump (following the car freezing up over the Winter) I now have another MAJOR issue on my hands :( Accelerating past some slower traffic on a dual carriagway I was alamed to hear a sudden, loud 'clonk'...

Driving my 93 Aereo Convertible last night, I braked quite sharp (not enough to activate ABS) and the car 'died' Engine and lights cut out, as if ignition switched off. Is this a 'safety' feature to cut fuel prior to impact, or did the car stall? I did not have to brake to a complete stop...

Speedpart stage 3 parts fitted tonight and WOW! On the adaptation run I was very impressed by the new found power. The JT 3” exhaust makes an enormous difference to the car. Not only is the top end much, much more lively but lag has all but disappeared and boost comes in much earlier. This...
