    Hi, My Tid ticksover at around 1000rpm. Is this a little high? It happens on start up when cold and and when the engine is in normal use and warm. What controls the tickover speed? Any ideas of the problem greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Paul

    The tickover has gone up to 1000rpm and will only come down after about 1 min so it seems something is sticking or slow to return to normal. I have just had the EGR valve cleaned and all seems fine with that now so what should i check now?? 9-3 1.9tid 150 sport 2007
