Hi, I ordered a set of 30mm FK spacers last week, arrived today. Went to fit and the spacer wont fit flush to the hub as the last part of the hub flange is too narrow. Part no. FK11715BZ-14 They are listed on a few sites for Saab 93 2002 on type YS3F I have a 2008 93 1.9TTiD Aero Wagon...

Hi SaabScene, I'm currently setting up a group buy on UKSaabs for an order of SAS rear spring spacers for the 9000. Details here. We currently have 5 interested parties and normally the price for a set shipped is roughly $60 = £40. I've sent SAS an email so will see what they say. Even if...

Hi all, The title pretty much says it all... :) The speakers going in are "flat" on the edges (meaning no riser) and about 8,5cm (3,5") deep Cheers, J

Hi, has anyone fitted wheel spacers to their car and if so what size did you go for? Toying with the idea of some hubcentric units of maybe 20 - 25mm to improve handling and maybe accommodate a big brake kit. Pictures would be great if available. Many thanks cheers chris
  6. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Hi, just after some opinions and advice regarding wheel spacers for a Saab 9000 Aero. My Aero is reasonably modified suspension-wise. It is running the Abbott Racing Sports suspension (Koni adjustables & springs). The car runs AZEV A 17' x 7.5'wheels with 225/45 x 17 tyres. I am in the process...
  7. Help, Advice, Saabs and Motoring
Forum virgin-so apologies for any stupid questions. 1) Was wondering if using wheel spacers to increase track width slightly will improve stability and general handling as aero track is wider than standard models already? 2) Any experiences of drilled air boxes to increase air flow/volume out...

I've noticed the rear wheels on my 9000 seem to have a narrower track than the front wheels, is there any handling benefit in fitting wheel spacers? Is it a bad idea? Could it cause the wheels to rub the arches, i was thinking of only 5mm each side.
  9. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Hi folks, My "new" CSE failed its MoT on (amongst other things) corroded front aluminium spacers for the front wishbones. The rear ones were OK, but as I have four new ones in stock I thought I'd change them all. There isn't much left of the nuts that hold them to the subframe for a socket to...
  10. Classic Saab 900 (1979 - 1993)
Hi everyone, I've been having problems finding lugnuts the right length to use with the Shelby wheels fitted to my 1983 900S. I've had to install additional washers under the lugnuts on a couple of the wheels as the nuts have bottomed out (only just) on the brake disks. Short of trying to...

Does anyone have an opinion or experience of these. A friend is getting some for his..errhum.. deep breath..Audi Avant. Do they do anything other than give you a 'wide-boy' look for impressing the 17yr old XR2 drivers? can there be any handling benefits?
