Hi, I've had my Saab 93 Aero automatic (2004) for a year now and I really enjoy driving it. It seems that I am underneath it with spanners on a regular basis too but I enjoy working on it too. My latest job was replacing the front Anti roll bar drop links (4 nuts off, switch and then four nuts...

The Haynes manual said......... It's underneath sort of drivers side ish' ........ I spent 45 mins under there, moving heat shields & swearing at stuff  I eventually found mine, living in the engine compartment, tittering away to itself in glee...... It was really simple to whip off...

My 93 drivers seatbelt was never great at retracting, but now it barely moves and I know I'm going to have to remove it to either replace it or simply clean a bunch of fluff out of it. My question: is this a known generic fault or am I just unlucky? Will it need replaced or has anyone had any...

Hi i am new to the forums. I was doing research on my 2001 saab 95 and really couldnt find anything on modding the 3.0t, just a lot of assumptions and no facts cconcerning durability, twin boosting, ect. I then began looking at the saab 2.8 from the aero 93. Would this motor and tranny swap in...

  8. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
Dear All, Hope this is a simple query: I have recently bought a 1998 Saab 9-5 2.3t and am very happy with it. Despite its age it had only done 34,000 miles and had belonged to an octogenarian who had looked after it well! (a)I was wondering if there are any Owner Manuals out there for this...

Just thought I'd share a positive story, most of what we get here are tales of woe. I've been meaning to change the oil on my Aero estate for a few weeks, but we've had visitors and quite frankly the weather hasn't been up to it. Today, given a nice warm sunny day (rare over the last few weeks)...

Gentlemen, 90 900T SPG and subddenly my brake lights aren't working -none of them. the fuse is good and there is 12 V there, the switch works and the voltage is there as well. At the moment I have a damaged rear seat base (Parchment leather) in a 2004 ARC 93 & have the chance to change the full set up to the electric memory seats. As mine are currently manual, would I need to go altering the wiring or would the required plug be under the seat already just to plug in.
