  1. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Facing a bit of a dilemma. I have been running a 1990 9000 2.0 T16 SE Manual (166k) for about 2 years now. The car is pretty immacculate with only a very slight bubbling of the drivers side rear wheelarch where they all go. Generally its been very reliable, with just a couple of minor faults...

It looks like I will be selling the Saab soon. I have been a company car driver for many years and this is my first opt-out car. However it looks like we will be looking at moving house, so the car is a major luxury that can go. While driving around in a 1 year old saab is a very nice thing to...

I've a late '98 MY 9-5 SE 2.3 LPT Auto, with 45k on the clock, all the toys on the options list when I bought it, and a few more added since. Been a pretty faultless car, never not started or broken down. Most "serious" problem was having to replace the infamous SID. I've been very tempted to...

IMO, this would be the ideal tyre size if you were upgrading from a 16" wheel fitted with 205/50 R16 tyres as the rolling diamter would be less than 1mm larger. As it stands the most commonly available size is 215/45 R17's which increases the rolling diamter by 14mm (+2.24% speedo error and 7mm...

My father in law has recently bought a 2001 9-5 Aero to replace his old 1993 9000CSE which has faithfully served him without any problems for over 10 years (and in the process converted me to Saab so much so that I recently bought myself a new 9-3 aero). The problem is that he is finding it...

  9. Classic Saab 9-3/GM900 (1994 - 2002)/Conv ( -2003)
My F-I-L has a 9-3 convertible he is selling, is it worth him hanging on until the spring to sell it or stick in in the trader next month? Its on an S plate with 80k on the clock so I think he should hang on until better weather as a few more months of age isnt going to affect the value too...
  10. Saab 9-3 Sedan/Combi/TurboX/AWD(2003+)/Conv(2004+)
I'm trying to sell my 9-3 Arc 2.2 Tid because I'm after a 95 estate. It's a 53 reg with heated seats, headlamp wash, upgraded es2 stereo & folding mirrors, 19000 miles. I originally advertised in Autotrader at 15k but didn't get a single enquiry, so reduced it to 14850 and then 14495. Still not...

I've checked with few Saab dealers but no luck so far. All are fully stocked with 2nd hand 9-5 and no-one wants it. Ones checked: Saab in Den Haag, Delft, Gouda, Rotterdam, Alphen a/d Rijn, Haarlem. I've also posted the car on few websites (2dehands.nl and autoonline.nl). I have to move to...

Need your help please... I'm trying to sell a 1999 Saab 9 3 2.0i SE which is in very good condition with just 58,500 miles on the clock. I've had limited if any interest when putting it in Autotrader and trying to sell it locally is no good either. The price is spot on with glass's guide...
  15. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
I've got a clean, 95M black-on-black 9000 Aero with 88K and FSSH. Manual transmission, optional sunroof. Otherwise totally standard and unmolested. Wondering what I should be asking for the car, and the best avenue for selling it? Would obviously prefer it to go to an enthusiast. E-bay...

  17. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Last summer I sold my 91 2.3 Carlson, in an attempt to save money on fuel costs. So I bought a 9-3 2.2 diesel. Not a bad car and does to an average of 40mpg, but it doesn't give that buzz like the Carlson did. So, i've been thinking of selling the 9-3 and using the proceeds to purchase a 9000...

The 9-3 2.0iS we bought recently has a number of problems - nothing pressing at the moment, but I like everything to work as it should. The car needs a service soon, at which point we are thinking of getting the head gasket done (if needed) plus the dreaded heater controls problem. This will...
