Yes, I know the key is in the ignition, that's because I left it there when I got out to open my garden gate / reach the car park barrier / release my locked seatbelt. I'd like to stop this noise, but haven't seen it in any Tech2 options. Anyone know if it's possible? MArk 2008 9-3 Conv

whenever i start my my02 aero the system check does seven beeps, or pings, as the system checks itself. oddly, sometimes it's only five. i've taken a look thru' the tech 2 options and can see no reference to 'annoying noise at startup' :D - can someone tell me how to stop the pinging? ta!

...as discovered during the MOT! Turns out the Fuel Accumulator is dribbling (nicer word) neat fuel out of what looks like an "overflow" spigot - this had a tiny bit of solidified rubber pipe attached, directing this fuel perfectly onto the silencer! I've since put a longer bit of pipe on...
