Took my 1985 turbo reg'd April 1st 1985 for its mot on April 1st 2005 and it passed 1st time!!!!!! despite my doubt about the not so great handbrake and a suspect stone chip in the wind screen all was O.K I spent 1 hr waiting for the MOT and 2 hrs talking SAAB and classics with the garage...

Mine's faulty and I got a spare (2nd hand ), Iv'e got the panel off just now but when connect the "new" one onto the wires it only moves down not up. I take it, it's faulty too!, or does it have connnected eg earthed in order to go up, I wouldnt have thought so, thanks for any help.

If a marked Police car is travelling on the motorway at 65mph, how fast would you go to pass them? 70mph? 77mph? Would you pass them if they were doing 70mph? I certainly do - crawl past. Presume they're looking for tail gaters / drivers with poor discipline etc...... What do you think?
