Hi Im pretty sure that you can get a service done by a non-saab garage without affecting warranty, but what about parts? Do i have to use OEM parts, or can i get my filters etc from anywhere? Thanks R

My 1996 Megane 1.4 8v (car no. 3 in the pecking order)), cut out or stalled (not sure which, difficult to say as my son was driving and I was 200 miles away at the time) after driving about a quarter of a mile three weeks ago, and wouldn't restart. The mechanic who attended said that it seemed...

Just wondering if anyone has fitted non-Saab Park Sensors? I'm trying to establish whether spening £300 plus on SPA is neccessary when they can be bought for about £30? My Dad has some of the £30 ones on his Merc and they were very easy to fit and do exactly what they're supposed to!

My Audi A4 that I acquired last year c/w slipped timing belt, has eight bent exhaust valves. Popped the camshafts off and all eight exhaust valves stayed fully open . I think they have been blatted against the combustion chamber wall. Trouble is I don't want to risk pushing them down further...

I'm looking for a 2nd hand car for my Mum, and despite my best efforts she won't consider a Saab as they are too large. She wants a medium sized runabout that is going to be reliable and safe, not too worried about performance and considers 2 litres a bit racy. I've had a look round Autotrader...

What makes of after-market hi-fi system will mate to the 9-5 retaining the display and working with steering controls (via autolead, etc.). I know SONY systems can be mated to a good range of steering conrols via Autoleads, and have used this method before of several other cars. Any info would...

I do around 25k miles a year and am wondering if sat nav is reliable enough to justify the investment. I have no experience of them but like the idea of not having to plan the finer details of my journeys. I hold with the view that you get what you pay for - but what would be a reasonable...

Been looking around to replace Mrs Fliptop's aging Rover 416 for something more reliable & better suited to multiple kids (too many issues with seat belts & seat shapes not fitting existing baby/toddler seats etc). Must be strong & safe, have a/c & be no more expensive to insure/run than Rover...
  9. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
Has anybody experience of non-Saab warranties and what are your opinions of these? After the Saab warranty expired on my used '98 9-5 SE, rather than pay for the Saab warranty (circa £400 per year). I signed up for a package from Motoreasy (www.motoreasy.com) which costs £360/year and includes...
