This month's Car Mechanics magazine has a 4 page article on buying a used 9-5. It does seem to dwell on the problems associated with ownership (PCV, SID, Sludge problems, etc).

Automobile.com asks....
Does anyone remember when Saab was truly a Swedish car company? Does anybody care?
More than you know. More than you know. ----------------- I don't know who their sources are, but Automobile's made some quite tasty predictions about...
4. Saab 95 & 96 Two stroke and V4 (1949 - 1980)
Long shot at this notice I know, but... Practical Classics are after an early stroker, ideally 92 or 93, but possibly a bullnose 96, for a Classic Drive feature based around the "Viking Invasion" and following a route from Whitby, via Scarborough, to the Yorvik Centre in York. Hmm, should...
5. Classic Saab 900 (1979 - 1993)

There is an interesting article in this month's Classics involving a 95V4, a Jensen GT shooting brake, and a Volvo 210 Duett estate. This is the one where the mag contacted me looking for a suitable car, to be available in Dover at 7am on a Monday, but wouldn't fund the owner's accommodation...

9. Help, Advice, Saabs and Motoring
If any one goes down to WHSmiths today. They may see that one of the Car Maintainace magazines has purchased a 160,000m (needs the miles to get problems to fix) 1994 GM900 SET for a song, and will be serviceing and fixing it's woes over the next few months. So far the gent seems quite...

Anyone any idea when the next one is due out? I rejoined about a month ago, but am still waiting for the missing mags. Will they just send them out when then next issue is due?

Insdide back page of this months Classics mag has a picture of Erik Carlssons 96(?) on its roof and some bloke (Erik) sat by the side of the road drink what looks like a bottle of beer - you have to put a caption to it to win, err forgot

Can't believe my eyes. Read TGmag Sep2002 on the way to work today. Two page review of the Saab 9-3 by everyone's favourite northern irish motoring journo, Deidre Barlow, who actaully seems to like the 9-3 Sports Saloon! In the photo he even manages to get the fwd car stepping out at the back...
13. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
There's a very short update report on the 3.0Tid that they're running as a long term test car. Took it to the British GP and enjoyed the drive.
