Hey everyone. I have one of the first Steering clamps for my car from MP Performance .. not sure where they are nowadays.. but their steering clamp worked well on the standard tranny setup for a ng900. I now have a quaife LSD tranny.. and probably double the power. Does anyone have any advice...

For those of you with limited slip diffs, have you experienced anything negative after fitting the new diff? I'm also curious as to how it affects acceleration? ( I know how it does in theory) Just wanted to hear personal experiences..;)

This is my first car that has an LSD fitted to it, so I'm not sure if the behavior it now exhibits is what I should expect. I'm driving the car with Abbott springs and 225/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on Hirsch rims. I understand that the wider the tires the more likely the car will follow every...

Hi Time to sell my Aero. I've owned this car for 3 years & it has always been looked after by my best mate who happens to work for West Midlands Saab. (Main reason for buying a Saab). So it’s been well looked after and has had all the care and attention (& parts) it required. The car comes...

Hi all, As subject says really. I've recently acquired a 2004 9-5 Aero estate, manual, with a Abbott remap and filter upgrade to about 280bhp. Great car and very VERY fast, but has absoulutely sod all traction unless it's completely straight and dry. So, question is, does the LSD that Abbott...

Hi all I just got my 9000 aero back from having some major work done to it.This included the gearbox that went on me. Whilst my gearbox was out I decided to have an Abbott LSD put in place, to help ease off the tcs when entering and exiting roundabouts and fast bends.I also had a set of 17"...

What's the final gearing for the Viggen? Is it the same as the 9000? More to the point, will an LSD meant for a Viggen work in the 9000? I would think that even if the final drive gear is different in the Viggen, the differential housing/LSD unit would be the same - or is this just wishful...

Can anyone of the Saab techs here tell me whether removing/reinstall of the differential with the engine/trans in the car through puliing the driveshafts, removing the rear diff cover and differential bearings and getting the diff out through the diff cover hole is indeed considered a valid...

A part from a rather boring subject, I'm now looking for a Limited Slip Differential (what did you think, I was talking about ) I was browsing the "net" for LSDs and found this: http://www.phantomgrip.com/ They got it for SAAB Year(s):86-93 Make/Model:Saab 9000, 900 turbo Part...

Hi Guys, Just jumping in from the 9000 forum. A friend wishes to buy a Limited Slip Differential for his modded 900, but has been told that they are no longer availible. Is this true? Or is there anyone out there who has knowledge of the whereabouts of one? Any ideas would be welcome. Nick.

Taken from the thread on Bills rolling road results. I have read that there are two power ratings for the power steerig pump. I think they are 80 and 113?. Anyhow I wonder if you change to the lower power pump, if it would make the steering a bit less light. Comments anyone?

As some may have read on another thread, my Aero is with Ken Jones having a box overhaul and clutch etc. As mine doesn't have the ill fated traction control, I am considering having an LSD fitted while the box is off. Has anyone had an LSD fitted and if so as it worth the extra 800 odd quid...
