Hi, I have a 2011 Aero Carlsson and the wheel alignment is out. My local tyre fitters don't seem to have any numbers for the 4 wheel drive models and my local Saab dealer hasn't been able to find the correct settings. Any help appreciated .... Andy

Hello, I'm looking at buying a 2003 saloon most probably the 2.2TID but then noticed the MPG figures on Autotrader for the 2.0T 175bhp which state combined 37.2 extra urban 49.6 are these figures anywhere near as if they are the petrol would be a good alternative. thanks

  5. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
Well its fantastic mpg for me... I have averaged 32.2mpg according to SID which is usually accurate, its normally about 27.5mpg for my work commute. I got a new thermostat & sensor fitted so temp gauge is perfect now but doubt that's the reason for the improved mpg, instead I think it's the...

Hi all, I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere on the forum but I appear to be having some strange mpg figures shown in the SID (2002MY 9-5 2.2TiD). The mpg seems to vary widely from day to day and trip to trip - from about 39 to 50+ at a pretty constant 60mph or thereabouts. I have...

Hi all Has anyone logged in-gear acceleration times for a 2.0T Aero convertible with BSR stage 1? I'm wanting to benchmark mine to see if I'm getting the expected power from the upgrade.
  10. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Whilst nosing through the various posts can anyone help with a few bits.... I know it gives 150BHP but at what RPM? What's the torque figure? Again at what RPM? MPG? And also what basic tweaks work well with a 2.0LPT? i.e. do they respond well to a replacement performance filter retaining...

Being the month of classic 900 love, there’s a number of 900 owners checking in to see who’s got what and what the story is. One of the things I like to do during these various months of loving is spell out the production numbers as best I can. If you’ve got a 900 you can see if yours is one...

My car is a 55 plate 93SS 1.9TiD Vector 150bhp and has done nearly 10000 miles. After a steady drive back from Winchester to Stoke last night (doing around 65-75mph most of the way) I noticed on arriving home that the SID was showing an average mpg figure of 54.6! Can anyone else match or...

Took Pete's old classic 900 to Emerald on Monday to get the injectors mapped and this is one of the graphs. We also had a bit of a mini Saabscene meet with me, Tandino, Scearo and John/. The first run of the day produced 258.9bhp, but I think Dave didn't save it. Later ones (like this) were...

While browsing a 2001 copy of a car magazine I found some info put out by Warranty Direct, a company providing aftermarket warranty cover. Since it will only apply to cars out of warranty in 2001 it would apply to 1998 cars or older. Average mileage at start of warranty is 46,000. The info is...

Does anyone have any magazine road test or online performance figures for this engine- other than what Saab claim for a V6 petrol turbo? Just interested as i made an E320 mercedes driver very upset today as he could not out accelerate me on a duallie. And he was trying as he flashed his...

Someone on RS246.com has GTech'd his RS2. Car is standard and recently dyno run confirmed as having estimated crank HP of around 315HP and 410NM torque (completely standard..) He weighed his car (physically at a weigh measure place) at 1650 kg with full tank of fuel and added 150 kg for him and...
