  1. Classic Saab 9-5 (1997 - 2009)
I just replaced the rear shocks on our 2005 Saab 9-5 Arc sedan. It’s a pretty easy job except for the (dreaded) rusty nut. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about if you’ve done this job. I first removed the passenger’s side spring/shock assembly. At first I tried to use a closed-end wrench...

Parkers list my 1999 3.0 V6 auto as 200Bhp, 310Nm and 0-60 in 7.5s. Does anyone have any experience or ideas for enhancing these figures? It seems that the 2 and 2.3 litre Saab engines are well catered for in the tuning department, whilst the 3 litre GM V6 gets left out. Cheers, Tom

Hello, I have a non turbo 9000 CS and wondered if anyone has tried using an electric supercharger like the e-ram? http://www.electricsupercharger.com/ It looks like a reasonable idea, any ideas about how easy they are to fit and whereabouts the AMM should go etc? Cheers, Mike

I am thinking of a stage 1 upgrade for my 9000 FPT (now that it handles and stops properly). I have only driven an Abbot stage 1 upgraded auto very briefly, and the impression that I got was that the extra torque caused the auto box to change down at reduced throttle openings. In otherwords...

Re: 87 9000T needs 2 be faster Quick I don't know what you'd do to beat one of the new Accords. I don't really like them personally, but they are quick. I guess no one will bother believing me if I say I pulled one in the Viggen on a very hot day with a passenger. lol SO I won't argue that...

  14. Classic Saab 9-3/GM900 (1994 - 2002)/Conv ( -2003)
What's the difference between the Saab sport exhaust and the stock exhaust on a 900SET? Is it only a free flowing muffler and the lack of a resonator, or is the pipe bigger? To get some extra bhp I want to install a 3" downpipe and a racecat. The rest of the exhaust is stock, no resonator and...
