Hi guys. My battery is dying after 2 years and 8 months. Actually this is expected because i don't drive the car everyday, and sits outside during the entire year and some trips are very short (5 to 10 minutes). My replacement is already in standby Lately I had a well known (for me) speedometer...

Hi I have just taken the plunge after much researching on your site and purchased a Saab 9-3 Vector Sport Sportwagon Diesel. It's a facelifted 2007 and has covered 100k. The idea being it has hopefully spent most of it's life on the motorway and will happily do many more miles. My queries...

Hi all, Just a quick question. Approximatly how many miles are you likely to get from a full tank in the 1.9TID Linear (120)? My last car would only do about 260 miles to a £45 tank of petrol!! Cheers Matt

I was looking at one of these to buy, it all looks clean and tidy but when I checked the average MPG on the computer I got a shock, 24.9 MPG. So is that normal, or is it a thrashed example, how do Saabs take to being thrashed? Chris It is an 06 Linear 2.0T Auto Estate [Sorry spotwaggon :)].

Today, the long awaited Saab Spyker deal is expected to close with GM as originally scheduled. Radio West have recently indicated that the deal is expected to be done by the end of the day. Whether that is the end of the business day for Sweden, or the United States is uncertain. If history...

Hello. I bought the 900 Turbo in September last year for £500. Just had service, MOT and some minorish repairs at 98,500 miles. I just wanted to know if anyone has advice/opinions on how long the turbo might last? What sort of lifetime to expect? Just need to know befoer weighing up the next...

I have a 9-3 TiD Saloon Vector Sport Airflow, 05/05. I've owned it from a year old at 14000 miles. I do a reasonably high mileage and have suffered through 29000 miles in the last 13 months and am now on 43000. At 28000 miles, my dealer advised me that the vehicle needed new REAR discs and pads...

Looks like I will have to change the 9-5 sometime this year, probably sometime around September (somewhat earlier than planned). I’m a bit sad about this because other than the front wheel bearings, it has been very reliable over the past 18 months / 30k miles and economy has been between 39-45...
  13. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Well, I was sort of hoping that when I got my timing cover off, I'd see a load of really worn out gears and chains. However, I have to say that to the naked eye everything in there looks great! I haven't removed everything yet, so I haven't closely inspected things. This is kind of annoying...
