  1. Classic Saab 9-3/GM900 (1994 - 2002)/Conv ( -2003)
Hi, I'm thinking about putting an aftermarket exhaust on my car. Does anyone have any photos of off the shelf exhausts on thier car? I'll start with a pic of my standard exhaust (for a bit of a reference thread maybe?) I just fancy something a bit louder really but not over loud at speed...

Can anybody tell me if I can replace the back exhaust box with two straight pipes - one either side on a 93tid sport 2005 (05)? Cheers...

Ive just emailed them for a price for a custom 2 1/2" Full Stainless System For my Viggen Convertible. This company has been recommended to me by a good friend who as a Vauxhall Nova with a 2 litre Turbo Calibra engine fitted, in which he needed a Custom exhaust making for his weapon of a car...

Hi Guys, I'm looking into upgrading my 2000 95 aero and have narrowed it down to either Abbotts or Nordic (Nottingham Saab). Nottingham Saab say ''We don't do a Stage 1 for Aero's because the hardware(exhaust) is at its limit" . Which means if I go with them I will need to upgrade to either a...

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying this for my 9-3 Aero: http://www.elkparts.com/product_info.php/c...roducts_id/2813 My question is, does anyone have one of these fitted? And if so what is quality, fitment etc. like? I understand Jetex also make these same exhausts for BSR Cheers Gavin
  6. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Is anyone running a Ferrita stainless steel exhaust system (from Elkparts)? I'm about to replace my std system and need some recommendations. I definitely want stainless ctr and back boxes. It seesm the only choices are Abbott, Ferrita or Jetex?? Any help welcome.

Hi all, I'm pretty new to this whole Saab tuning thing, but having now started (it started with an air filter, then the bigger intake pipe...then the BSR PPC thing up to 215hp...oh my god what a difference!!) I think I may be hooked So now while changing the wheel bearings, I noticed the...

There has been much talk of replacement exhausts in the past: Has anyone used a Ferrita Stainless system from Elkparts ( or from anywhere else, actually ) ? I don't want 'faster', I don't want more noise, just a decent quality system that will last a few years, and they list a 'standard'...

My car's was registered in July 1992 so AFAIK I don't HAVE to run a cat to get it through the MOT. My current exhaust system is getting pretty corroded and will need replacing in the not too distant ... would I be OK to fit a full non-cat 3" exhaust system for a 1991 car? Or would I be better...

I've been looking at the exhausts on Elkparts.. can anyone tell me the diff between the Ferrita standard and Ferrita Sports? Apart from £200. I have a 97 GM900 2.0 turbo. And can a muppet like me fit one? or will a garage put it on for me.

Ferrita exhausts for your Saab, use the store navigation, or to view all systems click on this link: http://www.elkparts.co.uk/index.php?manufacturers_id=65 What do you think ? To me this sounds a good buy.

I see that Elk Parts now stock the Ferrita exhaust for a 95 aero. The Elk parts site shows a twin pipe as opposed to the oval on the pictures below and I have not managed to get in touch with Elk yet to see if they actually sell the oval. I have been reading many posts on exhausts and...
  16. Saabscene: Performance
I am thinking of replacing the exhaust on the 900 as I think it is a bit restrictive bearing in mind the spec of the rest of the car. Currently running a JT downpipe, which will stay put, with a standard Saab system with one silencer removed. The JT works great on my 9000 & I think I will...
  17. Saab Recommendations
I've just purchased an exhaust from these people, through the Saab owners club discount scheme, and very pleased I am too. The part was cheaper than standard Saab part, a bit lighter and fit was excellent, can say no more. It was just a cat back system, on my 9000 Aero.
  18. Saab 9000 (1984 - 1998)
Discovered today that the exhaust has gone, cat back, on my '97 9000 2.3t. Local indy quoted me over £300 using copy bits from Europarts. Got me wondering whether to go for a s/s or sports system, or whether to go cheap and cheerful with a "high street" tyre and and exhaust place? Any...
