Guys, hoping someone can help with this. My 9-3 TiD has the 3 knob heater control system rather than the climate control panel. I've removed the panel on the driver's side of the centre console to try and access the air direction control - access is poor, but I could get fingers on the control...

Earliar this year my battery kept on flattening, thanks to HarryO I decided to pull the fuse for the Rear Demist. I have just left the car for 5 days and it started first time with no problems! Happy days. HarryO said it was the relay for the rear demist whihc had stuck hence draining the...

Morning all, I've got a possible problem with my 9-5 estate (3.0 diesel, '54 reg, 60k on the clock) and wondered if anyone here might know what's likely to the cause. The problem is that the fan from the climate control seems to have an intermittent fault. It will turn on and off with no...

Hi All, Since owning my 9-3 I've noticed that the windscreen demist features takes forever to demist the screen, even if I increase the fan speed beyond the 75% that pressing the windscreen button does automatically. Typically I can wait 5-6 minutes for it to 75% demist the screen to a point...

Hello, My wife has a lovely green 9-3 1999 convertible that I purchased for her in the summer. All is well except the demist does not seem to be working, the fan is blowing but not air is coming from the vents below the screen. The SID for the ACC is as you would expect not always readable but...

My wife has a 1999 9-3 Convertible, I can hear the fan blowing in the dash and working but no air seems to be leaving the vents at the base of the screen, the car has ACC, the SID screen is working well enough to show the icon that the screen demist is on. I think this could be an electronic...

today is the first day that I have had to demist my windscreen, and I notice that there is a small patch in the bottom RHS of the windscreen that takes simply ages to clear. is this another quirk that I am going to have to get used to?

Here's a fairly trivial query. The demist on my 9-5 works very well, but I noticed that my rear side windows stay misty. It has a vent, situated in the door pillar, pointing at them. I checked, and air only comes through this vent when the climate control buttons are set to 'face level'. If...
