Hello All -- Just been informed that the DMF on my 2006 1.9TiD 150bhp needs replacing (with the two-part clutch and slave cylinder!!) Is nothing ever easy? The quote is over £1150 There is mention of over £50 just for the bolts. Does anyone know just how many bolts there are and perhaps the Saab...

Bought the wife a 2002 9-3 saab 2.0 turbo, she loves it :) Now I am installing a new head unit bought online, it has the facility to connect to steering wheel controls and allow you to DEFINE what each button does via the touchscreen. I read the manual and im pretty good at interpreting...

Hi Guys, I've run into the problem installing bluetooth module onto my car: It is being perfectly recognized and subscribed by Term2, but on self-initialization phase it claims "B1273 04 baseplate error" (as far as I understand phone baseplate is just a phone cradle). According to WIS...

Hi, Has anybody had any luck flashing their ECU through the OBD connector using T7tool and ELM327 interface ? It was being developed but not sure whether the testing was ever completed. I have managed to read the binary from the ECU successfully, but I don't want to try flashing a tuned version...

Hi all, We have just bought a Saab 93 Convertible with a 53 plate (seems a newer model than an 03 plate). Its a great car and I would never have thought of a Saab before and we have all the options including a sat nav, 6 disc cd player, internal phone etc etc but we cannot work the phone or...

Hi All, I have a bog standard radio cassette in my 97R 2.3lpt Anniversary - no CD changer and amp under the seat. I wonder if it is possible to play my Ipod through it. Would prefer a hard wired solution that will also charge the Ipod, rather than something that fits into the cassette deck, if...

I'm wanting to hard wire a Tomtom sat nav into my 2007 9-5. I can get the power cable from the tomtom down to the area below the steering wheel near the fusebox. Where is the best place to pick up a live? I'd like it to be powered when ignition in in position 1 or 2 but off when the key is out...

Just exchanged my 55 93 Vector Sportwagon for an 06 Vector Sportwagon with Infotainment Plus. I am trying to connect my phones via Bluetooth. The car shows both my phones as being paired and both my phones show Saab 93 but neither phone will work through the car system. My last car had a...

I've bought a Parrot MK6100 kit and want to install it over the weekend. I'm hoping to stop by justcarkits in Slough before then to pick up an interface lead and was wondering if anyone could confirm that I'll need the SAAB06TEL lead to fit my MY03 ('53' plate) 9-3 2.2TiD Vector S/S? My car...

Just received a very nice Tim boost gauge this morning, did quite a few searches on the forum for info on connecting this with no success. It is supplied with a t-piece for fitting, but there is a capped vacuum inlet on the inlet manifold at the back, just in front of the driver. Could I stick a...

I recently bought a CampingGaz cooler box,but have great difficulty in plugging in the connector to the cigar-lighter socket. Youhave to force it in because the contact springs are so robust and unyielding. And once in, of course, its the devils own job to unplug it. I have sent an e-mail to...

Hi, I currently have an MBC fitted to my car, the reason it was fitted was because of erratic boost delivery, which I think was the first signs of the DI failure rather than a problem with the APC. I have now decided to refit the APC and disconnect the MBC, can anyone please tell me what hose...
