I have a 99 Saab 9-3 SE. I'm trying to troubleshoot my A/C. When it comes on it blows out air but makes a noise that sounds like something is interfering with the fan, and it's not blowing out cold air? Any ideas on what the problem might be? Thank you.

It's -35C so I can do without it for a few days, but the A/C compressor has seized. I've removed the belt until I can get it repaired. Other than a few extra horsepower that I'm saving by not driving the compressor, is there anything I should be aware of while driving with no A/C belt? Thanks, Rod.
