Classic Saab 9-3/GM900 (1994 - 2002)/Conv ( -2003)
I just got a 97 900s convertible in very nice shape visually but it drives like [expletive deleted]. 105K on the clock. Any advice on what to replace? Where to start? Most likely problem areas?

Maybe GM didn't pick Saab up just for their turbocharging expertise and their European presence. It looks a bit like they might have wanted...
There's a long and a short story here.
The short story is that on first reading, the new GM plug-in concept vehicle, the Chevrolet Volt, doesn't look like a direct rip-off of the Saab BioPower Hybrid Convertible, which also featured a plug-in capability that was hushed up by GM.
