4 year old saab 900 with 88,000 miles on the clock requires gearbox replacement at £2400 pounds. According to Saab customer relations this may be normal wear and tear. In 35 years of driving, sometimes hard driving I have never had a gearbox that needed replacement. Saab - never again.
