Well Guys, Just had to replace the front wishbone rear bushes today - the 'Butterfly' bushes. I wasn't particularly looking forward to this, 'cause the last time I did this, getting the old rubber bushes out of the carriers ( the actual butterflies ) was a real pig. However, removing...

Hi I'm pulling my hair out and am hoping somebody may know the answer? When I first brought my Saab 93 2005 Linear Estate (diesel) the eml came on and the car went into limp mode, I purchased a reader and the codes p1125 and p0380 appeared, having followed the advise on here I cleaned the egr...

Had an hour or two to spare today so thought I would finally fit the new butterfly bushes which have been rattling around in the boot for the past year. All the bolts and nut came off OK but the bush refused to move off the shaft. I even tried a puller and only suceeded in debonding the...

This one is doing my head in so any ideas would be appreciated. I fitted Superflex red polybushes to the front wishbones about 3 years ago, including both top hat type bushes to the front mounts and press fit bushes to the rear butterfly mounts. Ever since then, the locknut at the back of the...

After a year, i've finally got round to fitting mine with the bushes that I prepped with poly that long ago. I now have a couple of old bushes if anyone wants them to fit poly bushes at leisure. There's nothing wrong with them either, just got swapped out that's all. David.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether there is a difference in performance between the genuine Saab bushes at £33 or non-Saab ones at around £10. I've got Powerflex ones in at the moment. It seemed very big and clever at the time, but they are just too harsh for our badly maintained roads -...

Hi, can someone please tell me how to get the rear butterfly bush out. I have unbolted the drop link, removed the plate which fastens the butterfly in situ and removed the nut of the end of the butterfly spindle. My problem is that i cannot get the Track control arm to drop enough to allow...

All I have been feeling a slight sloppiness from the front of the car on some road surfaces, nothing nasty, but just feels a little " loose". I had a look underneath today, and if I get a screwdiver and lever between the wishbone and the subframe, there looks to be about 3mm sideways movement...
