My 120kmiles 2001 9-3 TID (125hp) seems to be down on power, so having read the posts here, I thought I’d try and measure the signal (voltage) coming off the AMM and the turbo boost pressure sensor before spending my money. Any comments on the what’s below would be appreciated – am I barking up...

Hi Would an iffy air mass meter throw a CEL or not? (2.0n/a) My car is still sluggish below 2250rpm on anything more than a quarter throttle. As rotar, dizzy etc etc are all ok I'm now thinking throttle position sensor. Can this be cleaned and could this cause the sluggishness? TIA Al

I got to thinking yesterday at work about why the air mass meter is right after the air filter itself. Why couldn't it be closer to the throttle body? I want to use a atmospheric BOV on my car and putting it up closer to the throttle body would fix/help the problem with riching out. Saab more...

Thinking of removing the net discs from the AMM to remove turbulence and give a freeflow effect as per widde's 900aero.com site. Without discrediting the idea/ mod what is the general opinion and pros and cons. How many people have done this thanks Ross

I'm trying to use a Saab/Bosch MAF in another application, and I'm trying to understand how the self-cleaning operation works, as I'm trying to re-produce the function in a manual fashion. I know that the PCM activates a 4v circuit for 1 second after shut-down. So here's my question... Must...
