History
I am the second owner. It was purchased new and driven by my friend's uncle until he died in 2009. It then sat for a couple of years, in the hopes of being kept on the road, but never actually getting there. My friend realized that he was not treating this car in the way it deserved, so he decided to put it up for sale. I helped him get it running with a little drainage of swamp water from the fuel system (about a pint of interesting stuff), some new plugs, and some starter fluid. Since I had showed that I had the knack for tinkering, he let me have it for a very fair price. I overhauled the carb and put a push rod back in place for the valves, and it runs like a top.
