My Tid was leaking about 0,1L of coolant for every 5000km. Even though it was not that problematic, but I had to get it fixed. During last maintenance, a few days ago, I've asked to check it and the problem was the thermostat, which was replaced. Somehow even before driving the car I thought about this, and it happened. The temperature gauge (which didn't have a dead zone) now reads always at 9 when at temperature. I really liked the old way, as it provides better information about how the car really is. Was this automatic when the thermostat was replaced? Can I do some calibration with OPCOM? I read that there are 5 temperature settings for Tech2, not sure if my mechanic (bosch) has the tools for this.
Thanks and regards.
