Hi, just joined the forum as the proud owner of a 2005 Saab 93 aero 2.0t convertible as of yesterday.
First ever Saab and already impressed and gutted the marque is no longer around as a major manufacturer.
I drive a Mazda 6 as a company car as my daily driver. Hate it, but that’s another story - been looking for a decent 4 seater convertible for a few weeks as have enjoyed owning a Triumph TR7, Mk1 MR2 and Mk1 Mazda MX5 in the past.
Always enjoyed joining forums specific to the my car, was active for a number of years on the Briskoda forum when I had 2 Octavias back to back before the Mazda 6.
I enjoy tinkering with minor mechanics (brakes etc) and retrofitting/upgrading cars with non-standard optional kit. Already purchased a complete set of rear parking sensors, loom and module for my new toy and the bumper strip with the necessary holes. Also looking at the aux cable retrofit as well.
And then need to find a friendly Tech 2 technician in Leicestershire to get that lot working. Was a lot easier with VCDS on the Skodas!
