2008 saab 93 tid limp problems [updated]

    hi guys

car is a saab 93 1.9 tid 16 valve 150 bhp vector sport

i have a long running problem with limp mode

it happens when i accelerate hard from 3rd gear to 4th then slumps into limp mode if i turn the key of and on again its back to normal

and sometimes happens first thing in the morning

ive replaced the fuel filter and done a service also no change and replace fuel rail and sensor with matching part numbers

ive connected opcom and get these codes p0001 75 which is low fuel pressure

now i have replaced high pressure sensor and its worse and code for it is p0001 5b

    also have glow plug warning

fuel pump in tank runs for 10 seconds on ignition being on.maybe its pickup is clogged?.

ive had tech 2 scan on it before same codes minus the p0001 5b

im at my wits end with this problem any ideas would be helpfull thanks

    Hello is it a 120 or a 150 BHP ?
Because on your introduction post you put that you have a 120 BHP
good way to find out if in doubt is what side is the oil filler cap ( looking from the front )
    If it's on the left then it's a 120
if its on the right its a 150

From what I can see it seems that the saturation levels on the DPF are way high it should read about 70% +/- before regeneration. Then drop to 25 +/- after
But I may be wrong .

Looks like the DPF has been mapped out as temp sensors and DPF values make no sense at all.
Whats the history on the car did you get the car mapped?
The fuel issue could be bad map related or the high pressure fuel pump not coping........looks like a fuel demand problem.
    Your injectors are spot on.
You also have no readbacks for the rail pressure solenoid for whatever reason?

I recall there were some changes to the fuel sensors ...they went to one on the fuel rail at some point?

Troubleshooting steps for the fault code P0001 75
This relates to the high pressure fuel pump driven by the cambelt.

ok so i did a bit of testing

fuel rail pressure senso readings ignition on

    pin 3 got 5.0 volts

    pin 2 got 5.0 volts

    pin 3 got 0 volts

    wiggled all the wires aswell

    see pics

    high pressure sensor plug got

12 volts ignition on pin 1

pin 2 with ignition off got 123-128 ohms
