Diffuser delivered this morning, I only ordered it on Wednesday from Poland. Quality looks good although I think i will have to drill some holes in it for the rivets. hopefully i can line it up the original and mark were the holes are. Working all week so wont be able to fit it until Saturday unfortunately

10 minutes later another parcel arrived from Poland (is Poland the new china?) nothing exciting, just a tailored boot liner

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1207429584...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It would be a perfect fit if the original amp and the flap that covers it wasn't fitted where it is. nothing a bit of fettling wouldn't sort out though

Re: Laser Red TTiD project thread

Finally got around to fitting the diffuser today that I bought from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-93-9-...id%3D100102%26

It fits perfectly although it does need an easy modification and a couple of holes drilling. Altogether took approx. 2 hours to fit which includes removing the rear bumper and lights - Haynes manual is useful for this. I'm not going to write an instruction guide as once the bumper is removed its pretty obvious what you have to do, all fairly simple and straight forward but if anyone has any questions I will help out as best as I can. Anyway time for some pics....

    Before, standard aero

    During

    After

I still need to fit the original reflectors, I think I will need to glue them on

I am very happy with how this has turned out, was a little worried about what the fit would be like but its perfect. it looks so much better in the flesh than in the pics. Now looking at that first 'before pic' I can't believe how plain/boring it looks. I will try to get some better pics tomorrow

Now for my next problem, do I go for a standard Aero spoiler or a Hirsch style spoiler?

Re: Laser Red TTiD project thread

Something I have always hated about my car was the colour of the parcel shelf, a horrible beige colour. It just looked cheap and nasty through the back window and in the rear view mirror, so today I did something about it. A few cans of matt black car spray from poundland and the result, to me, looks a lot better. not bad for a fiver

I will be doing the A+B pillars next
