Water, 1/2cm in the spare wheel well

Bought this Convertable cheap, roof opens and closes but there is a hydraulic ram weeping around the brass connector.
Discovered water in the boot well, so busy drying it out before spare, tools go back in.
Anyone had a similar problem, are there drain holes I should be checking that are blocked.?
The boot seal seems pretty straight when shut, the fabric roof looks to seal properly all round and is in good nick.
Don't have a Haynes manual, but about to get one cheap off ebay.
Don't mind a few fixes if I can sort myself. The car is a 53 plate Vector Convertable.

Well started on the road to find the source of the leak into the wheel well.
Rubber had slight gap running about 5 inches to the right of the rear light cluster at the edge of the rubber seal. So have filled with sealant. Will leave it 24 hours, give it a light sand to tidy up any rough edges then check on it after any rainfall.
Spent the rest of the day detailing the car, cleaning the soft top, cleaning and treating the leather, deep cleaning the alloy wheels, checking oil, coolant and that everything functions. Car looks A1 now.

rear light cluster seems common on both Vert and SS - same spot for me....

I posted a picture on new members site, before i washed/waxed it today. Spent half a day bringing it up to scratch. The guy i bought it off wanted a quick turnaround, he has plenty of spare cash and has 2 other cars. The car was an absolute bargain.
I will post pictures on wednesday.

Cool Re: Water, 1/2cm in the spare wheel well

As promised here are pictures of my purchase. Bought with the following issues:
Small crack in rear bumper, hydraulic hose 22 leaking, although hood goes up and down no problem, water in rear boot.
    Actions taken so far:
Rear boot well cleared of water, tied up, repainted with silver hammerite once surface rust removed.
Sealant used around rubber at rear light cluster (will know if this has resolved the leak)
    Hydraulic hose ordered from specialist.
Remove obstruction message in boot (resolved, previous owner hadn't fitted the carpet cover over the hydraulic pump correctly, causing the sensor to pick up obstruction, refitted and tested)
Car, washed, waxed, alloys detailed. Leather interior treated to a feed. Hood cleaned with renovo. Both Saab badges front and rear replaced with new black carbon fibre look badges.
Options from new, Halogen self levelling headlights, remote key hood operation, 6 CD changer, Sat Nav system, folding electric mirrors, memory electric seats passenger and Driver. Headlamp wash and heated seats.
Think that's it. It's well on the way to being sorted now. Ready for my private plate, it's a 53 model with 97000 miles and 2 owners, last owner well known to me.
