What adapter do i need to get FM/AM radio with aftermarket radio

    What adapter do i need to get FM/AM radio with aftermarket radio

    just as title says. Car is 2008 93.

    Cannot find any thread just just straight up says you need this or that.

    You need a fakra aerial adapter for the aerial if thats what you are asking....
    Couple of quid or thereabouts.....better with the longer ones as you have a bit more cable to play with when fitting.

    ok ill get that one.

    The male end fits into the aftermarket radio and the other end accepts the antenna cord in my car which i removed from the stock radio correct??

    Yes -what headunit are you fitting?
    You also retain the steering wheel controls (bit expensive) if you want and you will lose the service clock intervals and error chimes.
    No big deal for me when I did my 2007 9-3 and the improvment based on a DEH6600 (I wanted DAB/USB etc) versus the stock unit is a lot imho!

    Probably fitting a double din kenwood, which i hope i buy the correct mounting for my car...

    I personally found the incartec parts the best as I previously fitted connects2 stuff and had some compatibiity issues with the steering wheel controls.

    Fakra Aerial cable worked for the antenna.

    I went safe though and ran a single din
