hadn't thought about it but yes!
hairdressers tag unwarrated if you know your cars :) better chassis than a 911/996 mid engine 3.2 flat six, 280bhp, 0-60 in 5.8 and 160mph and wind in your coiffered hair!

5 secs, really?that heavy, that much transmission loss. my 260hp impreza couldnt do that even with a better power to weight ratio...

not saying i do not believe it but would needto see proper proof...

280bhp turbo x 1600kgs 0-60 in 5.9
you think 20bhp more than stock turbo x's 280 will drop the 0-60 by 9/10ths of a second...lol

Like the turbo X its a great car, 0-60 is not its forte it on the move that is where it come into its own. It doesn't have the power and importantly the power to weight to get it to 60 in five seconds, its that simple. It may feel quick but the reality is the magazines quote 5.9-6.1 and the press cars are always set up to be the best they can. I worked in the automotive media and events industry for a while so know how it works.

turbo x is heavy as hell and has the subsequent transmission losses that all 4wd cars suffer. I have friends running much more powerful with lighter cars (evo's and Subaru's with the same 4wd issues) that can just get down to that and yes they hit 60 with just one gear change too, most performance cars will. I had a Mitsi Galant VR4 300bhp 4wd (v6 twin turbo 280 std with full decat and Ralliart induction kit) with a real 304bhp r/r verified, 200kGS lighter than your Saab and it could manage 5.3 0-60. This proved on track days using calibrated pro equipment, not a £10.00 app relying on gps or seat of pants ;) :)

evo fq 340 will just crack 4.9, it weights 350kgs less and has 60bhp more...and that's the difference!

couple of little jobs, the drivers seat needs a little re dying on the bolster and a spring on the exhaust is missing both easy and cheap fixes, will give it a service at the local specialist too...It has GT3 18" split rims Wheels which is a nice upgrade and an expensive one at that!

Likely hang onto it for a month before selling it on. dependant on the weather that is!

Major service completed - £360.00 at a Porsche specialist - oils, fluids, plugs, belts and about 60 other things, clay barred then Mitchell and King Artisan wax treatment to the paint has made a astonishing difference. Will keep for a week or so (other half fancies ragging it about) then sell i think.

Fitted with Genuine GT3 18" rims and Porsche uprated S/S exhaust makes for nice, subtle mods.

It's funny had a look at a lot of these cars and there is so much rubbish out there it's unreal, cars which people obviously haven't looked after wanting strong money for them.

Cars which have only covered around 10k miles on 4 years but haven't been serviced in that time - advertised as having a FSH and the sellers get the arse when you low ball them because the need lots of £££ spending on them...bizarre really. the number with seized brakes and corroded disks due to little use and Porsche parts are £150.00 a corner excluding callipers so £1200.00 if callipers are fooked. the a/c rads rot out and are £1500.00 a pr to replace and you'd be surprised how many are for sale without working a/c and owners saying it just needs a re-gas...right!

The there is the dreaded IMS bearing failure, by now most should have been done but if not and it goes...£2500.00-3000.00

People buy them with little idea of the running costs, drive them for a couple of three years without servicing them then expect to sell them on for good money...there must be 5+ bad cars to every 1 good one out there...
