The what seems to be the never-ending saga of Saab‘s bankruptcy may finally be at an end. It appears that a deal has been struck with the National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), a Swedish-registered firm that made a bid late last month.
As expected, nothing is confirmed yet, but according to Swedish media reports, an announcement could come as soon as the end of this month.
Small steps at a time. Hope they start with an hybred car first before going full electric, as not everyone has been sold on the full electric car yet.
the thing with electrics is that they need to be easy to recharge-at home or elsewhere-and fast! so there is the need of a network of charging stations. same as what happened with gasoline cars at the beginning. until then, they are restricted to very limited areas. hope this will materialize some day.
