    Oil Vent ??

After replacing the blower motor and Rheostat to fix the Aircon I took the oppertunity to change the DI unit as it had caused the car to run on three occasionaly.
It made quite a difference as she feels a lot crisper and responsive.

BUT I noticed that the Oil vent on the back of the rocker cover where the thick black hose from the right hand side of the engine and the small tube with the one way valve that comes from the throttle manifold, was broken off.

Is this just pushed in or is there supposed to be a clip on the inside?
I have ty-wrapped it in place for the moment but want to fix really.

You mean how does the plastic bit fit into the cam cover?
It pushes into that rubber grommet. No other means of retention. The grommet is available separately and costs very little. A new one will probably be a much tighter fit than the original.
