Knocking on start up

On cold start after a couple of minutes running there is a knocking coming from gearbox side of engine, this disappears when the clutch is depressed and when the engine runs for 5 minutes or so. I have replaced clutch, flywheel and starter motor but the noise is still there, could it be the battery, once warm the car runs perfectly, there are no fault codes.

Sorry car is a 2007 facelift convertible, 2.0t 6 speed manual 94000 miles

Is it possible that the knocking noise i have on cold start could be something to do with the oil cooler (9-3,2.0t)as it appears to be from that area

Hello what type of flywheel did you put in ? Dual,or solid flywheel .
have you checked the gearbox oil level . Simple things first .
If you can try to upload a video of the sound , but as you say in your other thread , I don't think the manuals have a gearbox oil cooler .
