Has anyone ever changed the two rubber bushings in the rear axle? Anyone a description how to?
Seems to be a tough job. How long would it be to change the two bushes ?
Much easier with suitable puller tool.......done the job myself on an Astra which is similar and its very hard to get the bush in without one...doesnt matter if you destroy the old one getting it out(drill/hammer etc) But you would probably need a puller to put the new one in without damaging the aluminium sleeve.Probably 1-2hrs work for a garage. https://i.imgur.com/txclTcD.jpg
Rear axle rubber bushes have been changed. It cost me 390 Euros including fitting new Handbrake cables.
Was well done.
