    Re: Sat Nav upgrade

I'm selling my Kenwood DNX7150 DAB which includes wiring and facia - see classifieds. Was asking 400 but now just want to get rid of it, so any offers considered.
  3. For Sale Kenwood double din nav and other accessories for sale

Sadly parted company with my 2011 93 SC and ended my six car affair with SAAB. Traded it in and so didn't allow the buying garage to get these bits for nothing. Here they are for sale.

    Starting...

    Re: Harsh ride

(Apologies guys . It's an SC - 93 estate Turbo edition, so doesn't have sports suspension).

Thanks, Lizzard. I'm not mechanical in any way so this will be a pay-a-garage job, which I'm assuming...

    Harsh ride

The ride of my 2011 TTiD (75k miles) SC is beginning to annoy. It seems to crash over the slightest imperfections in road surface. I replaced all four shocks with Bilstein B4s just over a year ago,...

Re: The bullet has been bitten

Sspeed, I'm watching your quest for audio brilliance in a car with interest. I too am a bit of an audiophile and would love to have decent sound in the car. In the front room at home I have mid to...
  8. Re: Autoboxes ? Ideally the 5 speed Jobby on a Aero 210 (2006 & others)

I had mine done at the garage at just under 50K - apparently ahead of the service schedule. Can't remember what it cost but certainly wasn't a shed-load. Don't know if they completely flushed out the...

    Re: bumpy ride

I felt the ride on both my 93 SCs was harsh (57 and 11 plates). So on the latest one I changed the wheels from 17'' to 16'', which helped quite a lot and doesn't seem to have affected handing even...

Re: Retracting mirror issue 9-3 2011 estate

Aerojon, I also have a niggle with mine, also an 11 model year estate. When I open or close the mirrors, you can sometimes hear the motors (or whatever they are hat move them) whirring away for...
  11. Re: Is there a definitive answer on steering wheel controls?

Mine's a 2011 and phone control doesn't work. I was also told the built in microphone can't be used because it has a different impedance (whatever that means) to the after-market Kenwood system.

    Re: 2 LED questions

They'll be the ones with the special steering wheel that only allows the car to be driven in the middle lane of the motorway.

    Re: 9-3 -2.8 V6 Turbo X Reviews

Back then (mid-70s) my girlfriend's folks had a Fiat Miafiori (or however it was spelt). Had a fantastic exhaust note.

    Sloppy Handling

I'm starting to wonder if my dampers are worn: car seems to "dive" a little under breaking, tends to wallow at the front with sharp/quick cornering, and generally tends to crash over rough surfaces....

Re: Whats the issue with ttid4 160

    Hi PiStuff

I have the 160 Hirsched to 200hp/317lbs torque. It goes really well. Others here will say Hirsch is too expensive and not powerful enough but I find it's fine.
  19. Re: 2007 93 Vector Sport estate - possible remap - questions

Don't want to turn this into a joust but... Not being optimal doesn't make it crap. And what constitutes optimal will depend on a range of factors, some of which will not be technical e.g....
  20. Re: 2007 93 Vector Sport estate - possible remap - questions

I have a Hirsch remap on my TTiD SC - up from 160 to 200bhp. Goes really well (and would certainly leave for dead the the 15 plate Merc C200 saloon I had on hire the other day). Expensive - yes. Crap...

Excellent job. I assume it goes as well as it looks?
  22. Re: Please help make my 2009 9-3 sw dog friendly!

I have two large golden retrievers and can''t keep them out the the car. Invested in a fitted boot liner from a company called Hatchbag.com. It's tailored perfectly to the contours of the estate boot...

Re: Kenwood install - Saab specialist only?

I've e-mailed Saab about why they continue to charge so much for a unit which can be bought elsewhere so much more cheaply (and I believe has been superseded twice by newer/upgraded models). They...

Re: Fuel tank reserve - how much left?

I try also try not to get so low that the light comes on because when I first owned a car someone warned me that at that point it starts sucking up sludge from the bottom of the tank. Don't know if...
  25. Re: 9-5 SE Estate Project. Insanely with pictures :)

I second that. I'm not posting any comments but I am following what you're doing. As Kevgib says, loving watching thee transformation - keep up the good work.
