  1. Re: 1998 9-5 Engine starts revs to 3000 rpm and the stalls

The tic tic tic is the throttle body going into limp mode....and putting the engine in the same state.
Disconnect your battery to clear the code otherwise...tic tic tic straight away
    Then reset the...

    Re: 1999 9-3 Faulty 3rd Injector

Have you probed the wiring back from the connector to establish a break or corrosion (high resistance) problem.
I usually do this type of thing sticking a tiny pin in the wire at various points back...

  5. Re: temp gauge behaviour after thermostat replacement

Opcom is useful but only for the Z19 engines I doubt if you can make those changes........you can code injectors and force regens and get all the engine read backs
So useful for those things alone....

    Re: saab 93 indicator switch

pm me if you want further details...you will need Tech2 as you will almost certainly trigger fault codes when working with the CIM unless you are very lucky and get everything aligned on the first...

    Re: P2279 93 TTID problem 😢

You probably have an air leak in the pipework around the intercooler or anywhere up to the manifold.

    Re: saab 93 indicator switch

Switch resides inside CIM unit...airbag has to be removed...there is a chap in Ballygowan who should be able to help you.

If you are handy the switch pack can be removed and rebuilt otherwise you...

    Re: 2009 TTiD 1/2 Boost - Help!

Logically the swirl flaps are the wrong side of the engine to go anywhere near the turbo...they would have to go through the cylinders first and cause all kinds of mayhem.
    Although I do agree there...

    Re: 2009 TTiD 1/2 Boost - Help!

If the pipe is collapsing then that probably means the actuator or VNT in the turbo is stuck.
You really need to get at the actuator rod and see if you can physically move it back and forth...should...

    Re: 2009 TTiD 1/2 Boost - Help!

Remap should sort but really depends on the current state of the inlet manifold and DPF.
Any remap should take care of further swirl flap and EGR issues and prolong the life of the DPF.
    Its your...

    Re: 2009 TTiD 1/2 Boost - Help!

Troubles are probably DPF related ie too high a back pressure and probably blocked.
I would get access to a Tech2 or Opcom and force a regen you also have other leak issues.
    If you run these cars...
  13. Re: z19dt 8v 120bhp LIMITED PERFORMANCE

If you are getting a limited performance message and limp mode then there will be code.
Cheap option is Opcom which has a good chance of finding the problem or a Tech2 to be sure.
  14. Re: Xenon Left Beam Failure - Light works but doesn't shut off

Tech2 needed, however if you can get the fault code you may be able troubleshoot the error first using the WIS and wiring diagram.
  15. Re: How to tell if TTiD EGR valve is a goner?

Those injector values are excellent anything below 1 is very good and acceptable values up to about 2-3.....a bad injector will give about 5 or so.
Your fault code is unrelated imho.
    As to an air...
  16. Re: How to tell if TTiD EGR valve is a goner?

If you have access to Opcom then you may be able to check the injector variances to eliminate a possible injector issue.
Over fuelling may also occur if you have a leak somewhere on the inlet so...
  17. Re: How to tell if TTiD EGR valve is a goner?

The central pin should move up and down easily.
You can do an EGR flow test with Tech2 to check performance.
Longer term if you are keeping the car consider mapping the EGR closed and out of the...

    Re: Engine Management Light

The actuator motor lives on the underside of the manifold with a dumbell shaped rod connecting to the swirl flap mechanism.
If the flaps are simply jammed or fixed as a result of the remap then the...

Quite a lot of misinformation in the OP.

    Hmmm sounds a bit familiar......maybe.
But we really need some error codes preferably Tech2 or Opcom.
