Yes they will fit, sorry this should go in the for sale! I've held back on the sale as I'm away at easter. And I forgot to write my user id on a bit of paper in the photos durr...
OH BTW, if it's a TTID you can't fit a blanking plate without deleting the EGR from the ECU as you'll get an EML and the car will go into limp mode. Take it from somebody who tried and failed!
...
I'd put money on a combination of the remap & DPF delete. FWIW my now departed TTID was remapped to 238 with with only an EGR delete and that pumped out a lot of smoke when booting it. But only...
Cheers guys,
Diffuser was left on car to much PITA to remove.
I'll post up after easter as I'm away next week which means I won't be able to post until early April but don't panic!
Well, as hard as it is I'm moving on. Today is my big day, trading in my TTID for a Nissan 370z. TBH whoever gets my old car is in for a real treat, I just don't have the time or can be doing with...
Welcome!
What makes you think it's the microswitches? Have you tried replacing the housing? You can get them cheap on ebay just a thought.
Those tips are awesome fella, looks like the Hirsch exhaust now. I agree your car is a bit smoky, seems a bit odd considering the DPF is intact. Not been running morrisons biodiesel by any chance?...
Depends on what your budget is, I cannot recommend the TTID enough, amazing performance & economy especially after a remap. Road tax is £135 a year as well.
Nope, nothing like that on mine at all. Boosts all the way up. Even before my remap it boosted. The power delivery on the TTID should be smooth and from my experience I've never noticed when they...
Is it still working? If so, then just buy a clone fob off eBay and swap the inners over. That's what I did with one of mine - works a treat! Just be careful what clone you buy, just don't go for the...
Name them, I've a guess who it is....I'm local as well....
Ah sorry Kez only just seen this.
Kez - going for a 370z, just deciding whether to go 2010 model or wait a couple of months and save a bit more for the 40th anniversary. Trouble is, I'm finding...
I found the Hirsch pedals really heavy on mine, and they were actually more slippery than the oem rubber ones when wet. I took them off a few months ago and gone back to rubber as I hated them, they...
Good find that Mark - somebody should buy this, dead handy as a spare - it gets caked in crap from the diesel fumes recirculating. Means you always have a clean spare to swap out when the weather is...
Looked better silver imo, but still nice improvement.
WTF have they done! Looks like the manifold pipe has been cut...what a bunch of muppets. All they had to do was fit a blanking plate, leave the EGR intact, and map it out the ECU. You might be...
Tried an ECU reset? And then go for an Italian tuneup? Mine does this over time, when I first had my remap it's was epic and now seems a bit slower. Oh maybe we all just get used to the power.
Looks nice! Personally I wouldn't go for black alloys, too much on a black car but each to their own. Instead I'd spend the money on a rear tint instead (if not already done).
Refurb the gear knob...
I originally had hirsch and paid a whopping £599 for it! I must have been mad. At first I thought it was an excellent upgrade, then I got used to it. And then didn't notice any difference.
When my...
Been there don't that hear all them stories. After cleaning my EGR and replacing it 3 times. Yes 3 times I still kept getting limp mode after 5k. It was getting expensive and a nightmare when your on...
Yup sounds like EGR to me. Just try Kez cleaning procedure first to rule it out. And yes my remap is awesome. Been on the car for 2 years now. No clutch slip, no EGR issues since I had it deleted....
EGR delete, then remap - you should get 240bhp maybe more as you've had the dpf gutted. Then some decent tyres as the torque steer is a PITA.
OK so I tested on a 280 mile trip the other day, it's pretty cool. Probably the only real benefit is the 3 blink indicator but you wouldn't really miss it tbh. £150 is cheap IMO for the work that's...
Welcome! Check your DTC's before going to the hassle of removing the DPF, it might just be the EGR.
Oh, and when you've fixed it - remap and unleash the beast
Got it! Arrived today, was late getting back...plugged it in for 2 minutes - very nice! 3 blink indicators now enabled, loads of features you can display on the sid like turbo pressure, manifold...
