Off course you can use any other wheels that fit!
There are also plenty of aftermarket wheels!
For the 07 9-3 they have to have the same PCD ie 5 x 110 and offset ET41 and centre bore 65.1mm...

Wait until you have the results of the testing.
After that its probably worth a try before further work...at 260K and a 98 any repair is likely to be the value of the car unfortunately.

Unless the car has overheated then less likely to be the HG..although 1998 and high miles maybe?
Test for combustion products in coolant...any sign of oil in coolant?(kits on Ebay)...

Certainly unlucky as the power steering pump electronic or belt driven are not common failures.
Do you have the EHPS or the belt driven version?
Suggest trying a suitable Saab independant...

As you have likely found out the full set of misfire codes is a symptom of a bad ECU.
Are the coils genuine?
The first two P0646 and P1682 indicate an aircon problem which is probably a seperate...

Thats part of the crankcase ventilation system (feeds into a catch can at the back of the engine block).

Ask what work has been done...at that mileage apart from suspension components and brakes virtually all the major stuff may have been replaced.
If its been well maintained I wouldnt worry too much...

You dont tell us which car/engine combo but its likely the turbine shaft is moving around a bit and you can hear it whining under load/boost.
Disconnect the pipe running to the intake throttle body...

Have you probed the wiring back from the connector to establish a break or corrosion (high resistance) problem.
I usually do this type of thing sticking a tiny pin in the wire at various points back...

Opcom is useful but only for the Z19 engines I doubt if you can make those changes........you can code injectors and force regens and get all the engine read backs
So useful for those things alone....
