As you know I regularly post reporting niggle's on my motor. Well, I'm finally admiting that the car is beyond my level of technical in-expertise and defintely beyond my budget if I were to get all the problems sorted by a specialist.

Details

1989 Black Carlsson 2.0 (with original red coachwork)
- 16 cross-spoke alloys
- Unusual sand-interior
- Trent Saab (TSL) Stage 2 front brake upgrade (fitted 5/2001)
- New mid and rear exhaust sections (12/2001)
- Nearly £3K spent since I bought the car in December 1999.
- Trent Saab performed all servcing since 9/2000.
- Turbo is still sweet
- 138 000 miles

Con's
- No receipts pre December 1999 (previous owner mislaid or deliberately disposed of them)
- Bodywork and some fixtures need attention
Broken AC Condenser
- Original speedo head replaced at 38400 miles, currently shows 99 500 therefore actual mileage may be higher than recorded.

Would be best suited for hobbyist or someone who has a donor car (or as a donor for a mint Carlsson).

To be fair I'll set my target price at £1350. The parkers price of a car in average condition is £1590 by the way.

FWIW I got £1200 for my 89 Carlsson, black, black levva, no MoT, no tax, in December 01. It had 161k on it, tiny amount of rust on rear o/s wheel arch, getting noisier timimg chain, only two working electric windows. Conversely it had never been bumped, it had only had 3 owners, it went like stink and was well shod.
Still recall the happy times............

Yeah, I will miss it, but it's getting to old to be my everyday car

I should add, I would consider a px for an LPT or maybe even an Aero if anyone's interested in it as a second car
