Star Rating

How does the star rating work on this site.
It doesn`t seem to work with how many posts you submit, as some people have 5 stars with very few topics and others have maybe only two or three with a lot of topics. I would realy like to know how it`s configured.

I'll ask admin to move this to customer service desk as we try to keep model workshops for tech/interest info.

What are member ratings?

The administrators of this message board may permit members to rate each other. Only registered members may be rated and they can only be rated by other members. Even if ratings are being used on this board, you may elect to not have other members rate you. To turn off member ratings for yourself, just change your profile settings. So if you have ratings enabled, you can be rated and give ratings, a rating from someone with 5*'s carries more weight than from someone with say 3*

You can be rated for a good piece of advice etc, and give ratings for similar reason, its all meant in good spirit
