    For ES13 Sat Nav owners...

    Hi,

I would like to share with you the following:

I can hear a very acute sound (I mean a high frequency pitched buzz)as soon as I open the door of my 9-3 SS (at the precise moment where all the lights inside the car come alive). If then I push
the on/off button of the ES13 system (note I have not yet put the ignition key in its place though this does not change anything) and after some seconds with a dark blue color and 'system loading' message I get the normal screen but with vertical lines advancing from bottom to top (like an interference on the screen from that sound). After some minutes waiting, the sound calms down and the interferences disappear.

Do you have something similar? should I take the car to the garage so that they can have a look? (and at the same time correct the problem I see after some hours of driving when the symbols on the screen start flickering...)

Furthermore I have also on the top right part of the screen a dead pixel (a red point fixed there which is not annnoying at all but never changes of colour!).

    Greetings from Spain,

    Celso

Me and my mate both have new 9-3SS and have the dead pixels. We have contacted our delear and he is ordering replacements.

Should all be covered by warrenty.

Don't recognize the sound or flickering problem, but I have enough of other problems with mine (see thread about faulty GPS).

But you should go back to your dealer and have this sorted out.

    Cheers,
    Stefan
