    Elkparts... good or what?

I know that one of the Elkparts guy's hosts / owns this site..
But the service I've just received from them deserves recognition...
Emailed then Easter Sunday about the speedo watch and also mentioned about getting a 'performance' air filter for my 9-5.. got a reply in just over 1 hour...
John then called me Monday evening... result, Speedo watch is on my wrist today.. and another call from John yesterday resulted in a JR filter being on order for me!
Now considering that was a 4 day bank holiday weekend, I think you'll agree the service is absolutely fantastic!
    Thanks John!

Totally concur. Excellent service and enthusiasm for the marque. The company deserves our support.

Yes brilliant service I've ordered twice off Elkparts and both times prompt delivery and excellent prices,Plus the pleasant after sales of e-mails and receipt both thanking you for your order, something many companys don't bother to do these days.

I have had good experiences with Elkparts, Julian was good enough to offer advice when I was after it regarding the Ecotek device.
    Would certainly recommend them

I also have similar experience with Elkparts (albeit a few months ago), would recommend them to any body, and will definitely use them again myself.

    Hi David!

Notice you're from Redditch - me too! Live in Southcrest: if you happen to see a 1991 black 900 S Aero running around then give us a wave!

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you drive (nothing on your profile) and where do you get it serviced?

I've recently moved from London and am looking for a good independent specialist to look after "Sven".

    See you around!

    Hi Stunut 1,

Small world, I also live in Southcrest - Redditch & drive a White 5 door 97 MY 900S.

I carry out all my own service / maintenance, so I can't recommend any local dealers from personal experience.

The nearest franchised dealer to Redditch is Droitwich Saab, unfortunately I do not know of any idependants locally, perhaps if you find one you could let me know?

If you see me around give us a wave.

    Regards David

    Hi David

I shall keep an eye out for you! I have ordered parts before from Droitwich Saab and have had "major" work done at Lime Garages in Leamington - they're always helpful and willing to chat about the car.

Tend to get my servicing etc. done at Tettenhall Saab in Wolverhampton. It's a bit of a hike but Steve Wood, proprietor, is very good and his prices would make any franchised dealer weep. They certainly make my trips worthwhile - highly recommended. Unfortunately he only tends to look after C900's!

I've also heard good things about Scanparts (in Telford I believe?) but have not used them myself.

There seems to be a dearth of independents this side of the Midlands? If anyone knows differently please let myself and David know!

    Best wishes,
    Stuart
