Bridestone S-03: Is this a good price?
So hopefully by next Tuesday I'll have 16" Super Aeros and new springs.
I've shopped around for S-03s and found them for £326.86 for all 4, fitted and balanced. I know they wear quickly but I'm used to that on my bikes. At this price they are also cheaper than the Michelins I put on my wife's Xantia.
Does anyone know of a cheaper source in the South?

I think that you've found a good price.

You should maybe try Newbury Tyre and Exhaust (I've never found a better price than their's, although I don't search exhaustively)

Try Total Tyres in Binfield, Bracknell, not a million miles from you. Failing that, Micheldever Tyres in Hampshire, but last time I asked the difference was less than the petrol.

seems like a great price, but the s03 is out of favour at the moment, you might be better off with goodyear gsd3 or pilot sport or continental sport contact

Re: Bridestone S-03: Is this a good price?
Might want to give RoadWheel in Bagshot a call, they usually do a deal for more than 2 tyres etc.
I paid £170 all in about 6 months ago for a pair of S03's 205/55/16.

Re: Bridestone S-03: Is this a good price?
Re. an earlier post I made:
"Got a quote from MichelDever for a set of 205/55 R16 Bridgestone Potenza S-03s.
They were looking for £328 for 4 inc. vat and fitting. "
these guys have always been the cheapest I can find..anything cheaper will be a few pounds - down to distance after that.
Micheling pilots are good - the last Continental sport contact were not as good as S02s but that was a while ago... and 'good' is subjective.
Have eyes set of S03s due to previous experience of awesome wet weather grip until the last scrap of tread...
