odd 9000SE on ebay and gearbox question?

Hi all - found this on ebay:

I never knew they made a non-turbo 9000SE? Very strange. Looks just like a regular SE except minus the DCC and minus the rear spoiler. Also, it has the centre console wood bits but not door cappings. Very odd.

Anyway, my main question is - is the auto gearbox the same across the board (i.e. could you take the gearbox out of something like this and put it in a 2.3FPT?)

1991 se i, is a 2.3 150 bhp with everything stated in the advert, was a standard model only extras were glass elec sunroof, acc, auto, elec passengers seat and the saab audio system. in the brochure it states only dash and centre & elec windows panel not the door cappings that were on the turbo

The gearbox from a 2.0 non-turbo is not compatible with a turbo engine, nor is a 2.0 turbo gearbox fully compatible with a 2.3 turbo due to the different gear ratios.
