Jammed caliper brake piston

I've just being trying to change the brake pads on a 900t8 and the piston is jammed solid and wont wind back I've even broken the Saab spanner trying to wind it in.Is there any way of unjamming it or are we talking new caliper and bye bye holiday spending money

Yep, new caliper I'm afraid. That'll set you back about £95 (speaking from experience), better to have a bit less spending money and have a car which stops though.

It's getting done tomorrow £80 for the caliper did think about a recon one after you mentioned it but was warned off by a mate who had a few problems with one on his 900t16 and ended up having to get a new one put in anyways
